Vintage blue poppies fabric

I bought this fabric ages ago from a vintage fair and had been too scared to cut into it for fear of spoiling it.  Anyway, inspired by The Great British Sewing Bee and being still in love with my new sewing machine (two months in, that's a record!) I thought I'd have a go.  Not enough fabric to be able to match up but you know what, I don't care! I love it and I'm feeling very pleased!

The obsession with polka dots continues....

My new teapot has a couple of drawbacks....tea poured everywhere apart from the cup  and the handle was scaldingly hot.  Never mind, sometimes it's enough just to be pretty!
